For Immediate Release
February 21, 2017
Motorists are advised that single-lane alternating traffic may be in effect beginning February 22 as crews continue work on the Boucherie Road Drainage Improvement Project.
The affected portion of Boucherie Road is from approximately Green Bay Road to Sunnyside Road. Motorists can expect delays, if travelling this portion of Boucherie Road, for up to eight weeks. Motorists who want to avoid delays can take alternate routes including East Boundary Road, Hudson Road and Highway 97.
The project, which began late last year, will see construction improvements to the watercourse from Boucherie Road to Okanagan Lake.
The City of West Kelowna thanks the travelling public for their patience.
