NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the City of West Kelowna, 2760 Cameron Road West Kelowna, BC to consider:

“ZONING AMENDMENT Bylaw No. 154.53

Location:                     2563, 2571, and 2573 Hebert Road 

Legal Description:      Lots 6, 7, and 8, DL 486, ODYD, Plan 3706

File No:                        Z 17-08

Purpose:                  To amend the zoning from Single Detached Residential Zone (R1) to Westbank Centre Compact Residential Zone (RC1).

Purpose:                   To amend the zoning from Single Detached Residential Zone (R1) to Boucherie Centre Compact Residential Zone (RC2) to facilitate a two-lot subdivision.

Copies of the bylaws and related materials may be reviewed at Municipal Hall, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, up to and including June 27, 2017.

HOW TO MAKE A SUBMISSION

All persons who believe their interest in property is affected by this proposal may speak at the public hearing or provide a written submission for Council consideration.  Written submissions may be delivered in person at Municipal Hall, or sent by mail, email, or fax per the contact information given with this notice.  All submissions must be made Attn:  City Clerk and received by 4 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017. 

Submissions should reference the bylaw number in the subject line and include your name and the civic address or legal description of the land affected by the proposal.  Please be advised that all submissions, including the names of authors will become part of the public record.  The author’s phone number and email address are not relevant and should not be included in the correspondence if the writer does not wish his or her personal information disclosed. 

Any written submission received after the 4 p.m. deadline on June 26th will not be circulated to Council; however, submissions received after 4 p.m. will be available for viewing in the Public Hearing binder.

 

Please Note that Council cannot receive submissions after the conclusion of the Public Hearing.
