Canada 150 Legacy Project



With assistance from the Government of Canada, through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program, the City of West Kelowna completed major improvements at Memorial Park in 2016. A skate park and the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre, with a connecting, paved accessibliity trail, were built as a legacy to commemorate the nation's 150th birthday.

About Memorial Park



Memorial Park is the City of West Kelowna's premier event site, hosting Westside Daze in late June/early July and the Music in the Park free summer concert series on Friday nights in July and August, and various other events throughout the year.

The City of West Kelowna thanks the Rotary Club of West Kelowna Daybreak for providing funding of $27,200 toward the installation of a new playground in Memorial Park adjacent to Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
