About the World Music Festival
West Kelowna World Music Festival is an artistic showcase, flavoured with the many cultures of the Okanagan Valley. The event is hosted at Memorial Park as part of Council's vision to create a vibrant Westbank Centre and establish the area as the social, cultural and civic heart of West Kelowna.
West Kelowna World Music Festival is family focused, offering a kids' zone, multicultural food fair and an all ages entertainment lineup. Admission to all performances is free. Retail opportunities are available to those wishing to purchase food and merchandise from vendors on site.

Interior Savings KidZone
Interactive music and culture sessions will be taking place between 4 -7 pm on Saturday, Aug. 27, for kids, caregivers, and even the young at heart! Learn some drumming techniques with Feel The Rhythm Drum Circles. Sing, play music and hear stories with Barefoot Caravan. Learn cultural dances with Worldbeat Dance, Arts & Wellness. Interact with roving artists from Kinshira. See and hear Barry Loewen playing and showing off the didgeridoo.
Interior Savings will be onsite with their Great Money Challenge and Fat Cat mascot, British Columbia Golf with games, as well as other community partners with activities.
Public Art Installation
Creative Okanagan has partnered with the Suk’ʷtəmsqilxʷ West Kelowna Arts Council, the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan and the Rotary Club of Westbank to present a public art instillation at the West Kelowna World Music Festival in 2016. The selected artist will be announced shortly.

Find Memorial Park
Memorial Park is located behind Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre (JBMAC) at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway.
If travelling north, proceed along Highway 97 (turns into one-way Dobbin Road through Westbank Centre) to Old Okanagan Highway. Turn right on Old Okanagan Highway and travel 250 metres. Park and JBMAC entrance is on the left.
If travelling south, proceed along Highway 97 (turns into one-way Main Street through Westbank Centre), turn left onto Old Okanagan Highway. Proceed on Old Okanagan Highway and go straight through the intersection of Dobbin Road (Highway 97 northbound). Park entrance is 250 metres ahead on the left.
