West Kelowna's Bylaw Enforcement Department is responsible for ensuring the enactments of Council are followed in the interest of:
Keeping the peace
Protecting the environment
Upholding high public health standards
Complaint Based Enforcement
Generally, bylaw enforcement is complaint based. Complaints may be made over the phone, in person, by letter or email.
In order to process a complaint, the name and phone number of the complainant must be included. This information will be used to process the complaint and keep the complainant updated on the status of the file. The personal information is collected under the authority of the Local Government Act / Community Charter, and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
