Celebrating Our History

The City of West Kelowna has a rich and vibrant historical legacy that should be celebrated by all residents. From historic buildings such as the Goldie House, to the Okanagan Fur Brigade Trail, the City has numerous heritage resources that help define who we are as a community.

Heritage Register Adopted

At the February 25, 2014 meeting, Council adopted the City of West Kelowna’s first Community Heritage Register and two statements of significance were prepared for the inclusion in the registry – the CNR Wharf site and the Gellatly Landing Park location in respect of the importance of transportation on Okanagan Lake:
