Elections and By-elections

The next local government election will be held in October 2018.

In the City of West Kelowna, electors are asked to choose one mayor and up to six councillors to the city council for a term of four years.

In rare cases, a by-election will be called in cases where a sitting mayor or member of council is unable to fulfill their duties for the entire term. A by-election has never been required in the City of West Kelowna.
